Ceci has worked as an interpretive designer with Thylacine since 2014. Her background is in fine arts, building design and furniture making. She has interest in the interaction of story, art and design within the built environment and is passionate about creating optimum visitor experience. Her work practice is based on strong client focus with an excellent understanding of working within the cultural sector.

As project designer she has seen projects from concept design through to completed installation, including the NMA temporary exhibition Endeavour Voyage, The Untold Stories of Cook and the First Australians. Her role as project designer for Bilya Koort Boodja involved extensive Community consultation and facilitating the development of content.

As Senior Interpretive designer 3D Ceci has worked collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including representatives of First Nation communities and senior cultural practitioners working in heritage and history and Museum Curatorial and Exhibitions teams. Since January 2017 she has worked on the gallery redevelopment at the Auckland War Memorial Museum and Mapiya Lumi – Around Here, permanent Children’s Exhibition TMAG, both due to open in 2021.
